A little more about your role…
We are seeking qualified Landscape Architects & Landscape Planners with diverse experience to join the UK Landscape & Urban Design team. Our passionate and motivated team has offices across the UK. We value integrity, professionalism, creativity, and vision. As part of the UK Environment business, the successful candidate will join a diverse, collaborative team and work alongside colleagues across the UK and internationally.
* Be an integral part of a vibrant, ambitious, and friendly team.
* Manage smaller projects independently and support larger project delivery.
* Prepare technical information for landscape infrastructure, development, and improvement projects, including:
* Strategic and feasibility/concept studies;
* Landscape and visual assessment (LVIA) for linear and site-based projects;
* Townscape and visual assessment (TVIA);
* Preliminary/sketch and detailed design, including drawings, construction detailing, schedules, and specifications for planning applications;
* Tender and construction packages, as well as construction/post-construction inspections;
* Support development of client relationships in public and private sectors;
* Assist in preparing bids for small to complex multi-disciplinary projects;
* Delegate project work to junior team members;
* Engage in client-facing activities, including design advice and stakeholder events;
* Participate in internal multidisciplinary groups promoting innovation and leadership.
What we will be looking for you to demonstrate…
* Degree in Landscape Architecture or equivalent;
* Postgraduate diploma or Masters in Landscape Architecture or equivalent;
* Experience in delivering Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments;
* Experience in landscape and urban design projects is desirable;
* Experience managing landscape design during construction is desirable;
* Technical proficiency in Autodesk, Bentley, and Adobe Creative Suite;
* Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
