We are seeking volunteers to support various tasks for our exciting new project focused on Oral Histories. The programme aims to share stories and memories from individuals of Caribbean descent, displayed on a banner touring Thurrock.
Volunteer Support Roles
* Recording interviews
* Transcribing interviews
* Touring and installing showcase pieces around Thurrock
* Other related tasks as mutually agreed
We are flexible with your available time. Reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.
Skills and Requirements
* Signed Code of Conduct form
* Signed Release form from Museum Record Office
* Participation in an Oral History training session (if possible)
* Adherence to Health and Safety policies
* Open to volunteers under 18 (discussion possible)
* Training provided
* Volunteers covered by insurance
Volunteer Availability
We offer flexible scheduling, including weekdays, weekends, mornings, afternoons, and evenings, to accommodate your commitments.
