Job Summary
We are a family run business, established in 1992, and are seeking a dedicated and skilled Digger and Dumper Driver/ Groundworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform various tasks related to groundworks, including digging and operating machinery. This role is essential for ensuring that groundwork projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Duties
Operate diggers, dumpers, excavators, and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
Conduct site preparation, including digging trenches, foundations, and earthmoving.
Assist in the installation of drainage systems, utilities, and other site infrastructure.
Perform general groundworks tasks, including leveling, grading, and compacting soil.
Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
Conduct routine maintenance checks on machinery and report any issues.
Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies on-site.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
Valid CPCS/NPORS digger and dumper driver certification or equivalent (essential).
Proven experience as a digger and dumper driver and groundworker in the construction industry.
Knowledge of groundworks techniques and construction site safety practices.
Ability to read and interpret site plans and drawings.
Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
A proactive attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
