Healthcare Assistant
Job Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Ellerslie Court. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing essential support to patients, ensuring their well-being and comfort. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need. Ellerslie Court is home to 14 Adults with learning and or physical disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living based on individual care plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Support the implementation of care plans and provide feedback on patient progress
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and observations
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care
- Monitor patient health indicators and report any changes promptly
Requirements:
- Proficient in English to effectively communicate with patients and team members
- Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them accurately
- Basic IT skills to record patient information and access relevant data
- Experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous
