Responsibilities
* Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all sales staff, managing staffing and training to enhance sales programs.
* Conduct sales meetings and serve as a liaison between the sales department and other departments.
* Meet objectives for used unit sales, gross profits, expenses, and operating profit annually and monthly.
* Maintain used vehicle inventory and analyze market data to determine customer needs and sales potential.
* Develop sales campaigns and advertising strategies aligned with dealership goals.
* Monitor sales staff productivity and ensure adherence to sales and prospecting programs.
* Administer factory-sponsored programs and promote used vehicles effectively.
* Develop automotive product knowledge and safeguard dealership assets and customer data.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* At least two years of management experience in the auto industry.
* Minimum of 2 years experience with auction purchasing.
* At least 5 years of automotive sales experience.
* Ability to meet dealership sales quotas.
* Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
* Successful pre-employment drug screening and background check.
* Authorized to work in the USA.
