Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a CDM / H&S Consultant at Aegis Services Limited, located in Preston working various construction projects across various sectors within and around the North West.
The CDM / H&S Consultant will be responsible for ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations, review designs throughout the associated RIBA Stage, preparing Pre-Construction Information, reviewing risk assessments, and providing health and safety advice. Tasks include preparing documentation, design reviews, attending client meetings, carrying out site inspections, and liaising with project stakeholders to deliver safe and cost-effective solutions.
* Experience with undertaking the CDM Principal Designer Role (Preferred)
* Experience with CDM regulations, design reviews and health & safety advisory roles
* Knowledge of construction and demolition practices
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction
* Ability to conduct site inspections and prepare comprehensive safety documentation
* Proficiency in using relevant software for reporting and documentation
* NEBOSH General Certificate / Construction Certificate or equivalent qualifications in health and safety
* Membership in relevant professional bodies (e.g., IOSH, APS) is advantageous
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
