The role of an Apprentice Engineering Manufacturing Technician is a varied and challenging role, you will be exposed to all aspects of the machining process (CNC, Turning, Milling, Drilling).\n\nContinuous advancements in technology mean you will be required to develop new skills and integrate new equipment on site as and when appropriate.\n\nThe role will include, performing core engineering activities, developing meta-skills, environmental good practice, Reading and interpreting Engineering Drawings, Machining engineering assets, including CNC turning, CNC milling, manual machining, drilling. Measuring using various tools, Checking quality of finished components.\n Working Safely at all times.\nMachining various materials to manufacture finished products.\nOperating various machinery; Lathes, Milling Machines, Drilling Machines\nReading and Interpreting Information from Engineering Drawings.\nMeasuring and checking components for quality Essential qualifications: Minimum of x3 Passes in National Qualifications â level 5 (Maths, English, plus 1 STEM subject)\n\nSkills/ Knowledge:\nâ¢\tTeam working. \nâ¢\tIT Skills.\nâ¢\tExcellent communication skills.\nâ¢\tMethodical and attention to detail.\nâ¢\tOrganisational and prioritisation skills.\nâ¢\tAbility to work under pressure and achieve deadlines and / or agreed outputs.
