Due to our continued growth we are now looking to add to our team a friendly, professional Wedding & Events Co-ordinator who would enjoy working in an exciting, fast-paced environment. The Wedding & Events Co-ordinator will promote and grow the business, personally ensuring that our guests and clients receive the highest level of service throughout their enquiry from the initial booking of their event. Also ensure that our standards are always maintained as well as ensuring that all administrative tasks within the department are carried out & liaise in plenty of time with the operations team before each event.
You would oversee and coordinate weddings and events at this distinguished location. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Immaculate presentation and attention to detail are essential.
Please Note: This is a hands-on operational role that often involves working late evenings and weekends, particularly when hosting weddings and events.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the planning and execution of weddings and events, from initial concept to completion, including budgeting, vendor selection, and coordination of logistics
* Creating social media content
* Lead the conference and banqueting team to ensure first-class service delivery at all events.
* Manage the set-up and breakdown of event spaces to meet specific function requirements.
* Greet and engage clients to build lasting relationships and ensure satisfaction.
Skills/Experience:
* Strong proficiency in both mathematics and English.
* Experience in the hotel or hospitality industry.
* Proven leadership experience, particularly in managing teams.
* Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
