Are you tired of the same old night jobs? We are seeking a proactive, personable, stay-awake-at-night type of person to join our team as a Waking Night Support Worker (internally known as a Building Supervisor) in Gloucester.

Role details
This is a full-time position based in our supported accommodation buildings in Gloucester. Responsibilities include working a rolling rota of 4 shifts per week (12.25 hours per shift, 8:00 PM – 8:15 AM, 1 hour unpaid break).
Responsibilities
* Ensure buildings are safe and secure for residents and act as a point of contact for residents.
* Liaise with support staff to ensure clear information flow between shifts through handovers.
* Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the building; undertake light maintenance duties.
* Engage with residents and listen to their needs.
* Defuse situations affecting health, safety, or well-being; undertake health and safety checks and walk-arounds during shifts.
* Use sound judgement to resolve issues or seek support from peers or emergency services when needed.
* Demonstrate empathy and patience toward residents.
Training and career progression
Tailored, specific training will support you to progress through a training pathway within CCP. We promote Health, Wellbeing, Diversity, and Inclusion in all our services and staff.
Team and environment
Our close-knit teams of Building Supervisors, Support Workers, and Project Managers deliver soutien over a rota pattern. Experience with a diverse cross section of society is useful but not essential, as training and induction are provided.

Pay: £29,484 per year (Band B)
