Description Your responsibilities include the following: Execute transient transfection experiments in mammalian cell systems (CHO, HEK293 etc.) Monitor cell growth and viability; maintain cell cultures under aseptic conditions Perform DNA preparations to generate high-quality plasmid material suitable for mammalian cell transfection Carry out basic antibody quantification and characterization (e.g., ELISA, SDS-PAGE, UV absorbance) Maintain detailed experimental records and contribute to documentation of results Coordinate with other teams to plan production based on reagent needs Support lab maintenance and ordering of consumables Collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced research environment What we offer This opportunity is to contribute to the production of research-grade recombinant antibodies within the antibody production team at our new location in Cambridge, UK.
