MJ Quinn is a contractor for the provision of Mechanical, Electrical and Telecommunications services. We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician to work within our Mechanical, Electrical & Building Maintenance Division. The sites will be predominantly based in the following areas such as Maryport, Whitehaven, Workington, and the surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:
* Reporting to the Contracts Manager within the MEB Maintenance Division, you will be carrying out the servicing, maintenance, installation, and commissioning of our products, acting as a line of support to our clients where you will:
* Carry out servicing and maintenance repairs of electrical systems, equipment, fixtures, and related electro-mechanical systems in accordance with applicable Electrical Industry Codes.
* Carry out small to medium installation works within our client buildings across the Mersey care contract.
* Identify faults, hazards, and rectifying.
* Routinely inspect electrical systems such as wiring, fixtures, and appliances.
* Writing electrical maintenance reports.
* Install new electrical appliances in the building.
* Adhere to safety to safety and performance standards.
* Be able to provide NICEIC reports.
* Work as part of a team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
Qualifications/ Experience
* Ideally, we are looking for someone who has facilities management background.
* Hold a full driving license with no more than 6 penalty points and no bans within the last 12 months.
* Be available for an on-call rota.
* Have experience in the relevant field in a previous role.
* Maintenance in a commercial environment is preferred.
