Seaworthy Consulting is seeking a
Crewing Manager
for a company operating approximately 12 workboat vessels. This is a
permanent, full-time
position with a
hybrid working pattern : initially from home, transitioning to a schedule of half the week remote and half in the office located on the South East coast of England. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the company's fleet is consistently and efficiently crewed with qualified personnel, complying with all relevant regulations. This role requires effective liaison with various departments such as port agents, travel agencies, payroll, ship captains, technical teams, and HR. It involves problem-solving, quick thinking, and may require working outside regular hours. Qualifications and Experience Strong knowledge of STCW, MLC, international manning, and flag state requirements Offshore resource management experience Proven ability to work collaboratively within complex international business environments Knowledge of UK employment legislation Ability to work independently with accountability and specialized knowledge Excellent organizational and IT skills Ability to develop positive relationships across various levels of the organization Start date: mid July 2025 Salary: Negotiable Company Benefits include: private pension (up to 7.5% matched contributions), 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, private healthcare (covering partners and children from day 1), private dental, Cyclescheme, PerkBox discounts, access to private GP via Zoom, and mental health/therapy support.
