Come and join our expanding Electronic Warfare Operations Support Group (EWOS), which is made up of 60+ electronic warfare specialists. Our team includes engineers, scientists, and ex-military personnel, all working together to help our customers achieve operational success and safety.
We are building a new team that you will lead at a state-of-the-art test and evaluation facility in Cambridgeshire.
You will be the primary technical contact for customers during trial planning and execution.
Your responsibilities include planning and supporting domestic and international trials, working with current and future technologies, and leading the development of the laboratory, ensuring successful integration of new capabilities, assets, and test equipment.
Working autonomously with close access to the customer, you will ensure deployment, verification, and validation are successful. You will develop into the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the project facility, acting as the main point of contact for stakeholder queries.
What you’ll bring to the table:
* Experience creating test scripts/programmes (e.g., LabView, Python, MATLAB)
* Understanding of synthetic testing environments
* Experience integrating and calibrating hardware and software models into a laboratory environment
* Operation of entity models through GUIs with understanding of mission objectives
* Technical management of a production laboratory, including support for customer trials
* Leadership and management of a small team of engineers
* STEM Degree or extensive relevant experience
Desirable skills include:
* EW Domain Knowledge
* Experience managing analogue and digital interfaces (RF/EO/Data)
* Use of laboratory equipment (Vector Signal Analyzers, Signal Generators, Oscilloscopes)
* Understanding RF/EOIR systems and sensors
* Version control for hardware and software components
* Mentoring and coaching junior engineers
* Experience working on agile projects
