We are recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a fantastic small animal veterinary practice in the stunning Lake District Area of Carlisle, Cumbria
* full time hours including a 1 in 4 weekend and quiet OOH rota (with any work done financially remunerated)
* practice is established and successful with up to date technologies and equipment; digital x-ray, digital dental X-ray, ultrasound, video-endoscope, in-house laboratory with biochemistry, haematology etc.
* can consider a broad range of experience for this role although ideally you will already have some experience in general practice and be confident with routine consults and surgeries.
* join a growing, experienced and supportive Vet team with 2 Vets currently working towards certificates
* practice is keen to support your interests and further development
* generous CPD and study to certificate level encouraged and funded.
* fantastic location in stunning and sought after Lake District region and national park area in Cumbria, northwest England with mountains and stunning lakes.

Person Requirements
* Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
* Registered with the RCVS
* some experience in practice
* confident with routine consults and surgeries.
