A specialist residential school in Horsham is looking for dedicated Behaviour Support Workers to help support autistic pupils across both classroom and residential settings. This is a full-time post involving a holistic approach to care and education, working closely with pupils who benefit from consistency across both school and home environments.

Your Role:

* Support students’ learning during the day and routines during evening residential hours

* Encourage independence in life skills, emotional regulation, and communication

* Use positive behaviour strategies and promote a calm environment

* Work with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure continuity of care

Who are we looking for?

* Individuals with experience in care, autism support or SEN residential settings

* Willingness to work varied hours including some evenings and weekends

* Emotionally resilient, caring and consistent in approach

* A team player who can offer structure and empathy

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
