We are looking for a Band 7 Nurse Practitioner or Paramedic Practitioner to work autonomously within our GP‑led Urgent Treatment Centre in Ormskirk and our Nurse‑led Walk‑In Centre in Skelmersdale. Both services operate seven days a week, 8 am to 8 pm, providing urgent and primary care to adults and children.
Responsibilities
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis and treatment for adult and paediatric patients presenting with minor illness and injury.
- Work independently within the Urgent Treatment Centre and Walk‑In Centre.
- Maintain high clinical and quality standards in line with the Care Quality Commission ratings.
- Participate in continuous improvement and innovation projects funded by the organisation.
Qualifications
- Completed Level 7 study in Clinical Examination.
- Hold a V300 non‑medical prescribing qualification.
- Experience in urgent care, primary care or a similar clinical setting.
- Commitment to safeguarding, safer recruitment and protecting vulnerable groups.
