Customer Support Coordinator (m/f/d) - Engineering

Minebea Intec is a leading manufacturer of industrial weighing and inspection technologies. Location: On-site at our Birmingham office

Job Outline:

The Customer Service Team provides key functions supporting both our customers and sales and service teams. The role is diverse, fast-paced, and requires flexibility and responsiveness, managing multiple tasks simultaneously. The Customer Support Coordinator primarily focuses on service activities.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

* Service activities: Providing service quotes, scheduling engineer visits in the UK and Ireland for emergency call-outs, scheduled maintenance, and installations; ordering weights to sites and returns; responding to customer calls and queries; managing a busy service email inbox; forecasting activity to inform planning.
* Other activities: Liaising with colleagues on order input and spare parts; coordinating with sales and engineering teams; creating customer accounts in SAP; invoicing service activities; providing cover for order input and spares during busy periods or staff absences.

Key Objective:

* To support the service area by communicating with customers and scheduling engineer appointments.

Qualifications:

* Ability to use SAP; training will be provided.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Good teamwork skills.
* Ability to multitask across different business areas.
