About the Role:
Protocol Education is looking for a caring and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to work in schools across Sutton. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference by supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and communication needs.
* Collaborate with teachers to adapt lessons and resources to meet pupil needs.
* Support children’s emotional, social, and academic development.
* Encourage independence, participation, and positive behaviour.
* Contribute to a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom atmosphere.
Requirements:
* Experience supporting children with SEN in a school or similar setting.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* A patient, proactive, and empathetic approach.
* Ability to work effectively within a team.
* A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
