We have a current opportunity for a Senior Facilities Engineer on a contract basis. 4 days a week in the office in west London with 1 day WFH per week.

Role:
* Keep yourself familiar with new technologies and best practices relate to current M&A/ NVprojects for Oil & Gas as well as Renewables;
* As part of the M&A due diligence process, review and comment on the proposed scope, schedule and cost associated with the project.
* Assist in building CIMS processes, workflows and standards for facility evaluations
* Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers within the organization.
Background:
* Robust experience and understanding of O&G facility engineering
* Strong knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental compliance requirements.
* Expertise in process simulation software and equipment sizing.
* Experience in O&G facility engineering evaluation on upstream assets
* General knowledge of the offshore engineering, fabrication and construction industry.
* Strong analytical skill and effectively communicate technical data
* Commercial awareness – recognising the value of the technical work to the business and not for it’s own sake
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills:
o Effectively communicate about technical concepts and data, with appropriate key messages clear and unambiguous
o Able to deliver appropriate quality work, often under pressure, in a timely manner without compromising integrity
o Self-starter, driven and show initiative – this team requires individuals to self-manage much of the time
o Team player – able to work with others in a constructive manner, potentially across different cultures and time zone boundaries
