is currently recruiting an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Skip Driver for a full-time role with a well-established waste and skip hire company operating across Edinburgh and surrounding areas.
This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for consistent full-time work, stable hours, and the potential to secure a long-term or permanent position.
🕒 Working Hours
1. Monday to Friday
2. 6:00am starts
3. Minimum 40 hours per week
4. Overtime available depending on workload
🔧 The Role
5. Operating a Class 2 skip vehicle on scheduled routes
6. Delivering, exchanging, and collecting skips from commercial and domestic sites
7. Completing work safely, efficiently, and on time
8. Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
9. Following strict health & safety procedures at all times
10. Providing a professional and reliable service to customers
💰 Pay Rates
PAYE
11. £14.50 per hour
12. £19.32 per hour after 8 hours
PAYE Advanced
13. £16.25 per hour
14. £21.66 per hour after 8 hours
✅ Minimum 40 hours per week guaranteed
✅ Weekly pay

✅ Requirements
15. Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
16. Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph card
17. Previous skip or waste industry experience preferred
18. Good understanding of health & safety practices
19. Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
