Amberley Care Home is a luxury, purpose-built care home located in the beautiful, historic town of Sale, providing Residential, Dementia, and Respite care for up to 72 residents.
We are now seeking a compassionate and dynamic Clinical Deputy Manager to join our leadership team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who leads by example, champions high standards, and is passionate about helping residents live happy, fulfilled lives.

Your Role
As Clinical Deputy Manager, you will take the lead on driving clinical excellence across the home. You will oversee care planning, compliance, and governance, ensuring that every resident receives safe, personalised, and dignified care. You will mentor and develop your team, building confidence and competence through coaching and clinical training, and you will be a visible, approachable presence on the floor – always leading by example.
You will also act as a key point of contact for residents and their families, building trust and maintaining open communication. When required, you will step into the Home Manager’s role, demonstrating calm leadership and ensuring the smooth running of the home.
What We’re Looking For
You will be a qualified Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN and at least two years’ experience in a Deputy Manager or senior clinical leadership role. You will have excellent knowledge of clinical governance, safeguarding, and best practice in elderly care.
Equally important is your ability to inspire and guide others – you will be someone who supports, motivates, and empowers your team while maintaining a hands-on approach.
