About the opportunity: Finance Administrator (Part Time)
* Expected working pattern: preferably office-present 5 days per week, working a total of 20-30 hours per week (flexible on start/finish times each work day). Salary is pro-rated
* Execute and verify day-to-day transaction processing for Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) ledgers, generate sales invoices and follow up on outstanding client payments.
* Process supplier invoices and staff expenses in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring correct coding and categorisation (across cost of sales, direct staff costs, other overhead expenditure)
* Perform daily bank reconciliations in Xero and execute weekly payment runs for domestic and international suppliers.
* Conduct preparatory checks for month-end close, including clearing down the general expenses nominal and ensuring clearing account balances are nil.
* Support the Finance Manager/Group Financial Controller by compiling and formatting financial data for management reports and key sales analysis.
* Maintain meticulous financial administration of all bookings, ensuring key sales data is accurately reflected in the live sales sheet and Xero.
* Verify VAT coding on all sales and purchase invoices, re-coding transactions as necessary to ensure compliance with Tom's tax schemes (UK and non-UK).
* Provide support to the operations and financial operations team during peak periods (approx. 80% finance focus, 20% operational support).
Hours of work: 20-30 hours per week, in office (min. 4 days, preferably 5 days)
Reports to: Group Financial Controller (London based)

* Minimum 1 year requirement in an accounts role
* Experience working with Xero preferred
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail

* Self-motivated and ambitious, with a team-oriented approach
* A passion for golf and sport is a plus
The Finance administrator role is ideal for a highly organized and ambitious individual with practical experience in accounts administration, especially managing payables and receivables, who is looking to grow their career in finance. As a key member of the finance team, you will be trained to perform critical daily financial tasks and provide essential support to the Finance Manager/Group Financial Controller during the month-end reporting cycle. Your collaboration across the sales, operations, and guest services teams will ensure the meticulous financial administration of all bookings, with your exceptional attention to detail being essential for maintaining accurate and timely financial records.
