The Opportunity
As an Industrial Safety Engineer, you will be part of a dedicated safety and compliance team, providing expert health and safety advice across a complex operational environment.
This role plays a vital part in maintaining high safety standards during major programme delivery across construction, commissioning, and operational phases.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and provide guidance on non-compliances
* Collaborate with multiple departments to support and enhance safety arrangements
* Promote a positive safety culture across internal teams and contractors
* Develop and maintain strong working relationships across project and contractor organisations
* Produce health and safety performance reports, identify trends, and recommend actions
* Conduct inspections, audits, and other assurance activities
* Review risk assessments and method statements and provide technical advice
Candidate Requirements
* NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent Level 3 qualification)
* Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in a safety-related role
* Good understanding of occupational health and safety requirements
* Experience working within large-scale or complex project environments
* Confident communicator with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders
* Capable of producing accurate reports and assurance documentation
* Strong focus on risk identification and mitigation
