The Role As Contracts Manager, youll oversee multiple planned works and refurbishment contracts across Yorkshire, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
Youll manage site teams, supervisors and subcontractors while maintaining strong communication with clients and internal stakeholders. This is a hands-on leadership role where visibility, organisation and proactive problem-solving are essential.
Key Responsibilities Manage multiple planned works / refurbishment contracts from mobilisation through to completion
Lead Site Supervisors and operational teams across live sites
Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to agreed quality standards
Drive productivity, programme delivery and commercial performance
Build strong relationships with clients and residents
Monitor progress, costs and resource allocation
Support recruitment, training and development of site teams
Maintain compliance with health & safety and environmental standards
Attend client meetings and provide regular project updates
Promote a positive culture across all operational teams

Youll ideally have:
Strong operational and people management experience

Experience managing labour-based construction activities
Strong understanding of health & safety compliance
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Full UK Driving Licence
Qualifications SMSTS
CSCS Card
NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent trade qualification
Minimum 5 years trade / construction experience
