The Role: The Delivery Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing the scheduling, tracking, and coordination of product deliveries to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment. This role serves as the primary point of contact between the logistics team, customers, and delivery partners, ensuring a smooth and efficient delivery process. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Coordinate and schedule delivery operations in alignment with customer orders and business needs. Utilise Purchase Orders for logistics, products and service based operations Using nominated 3rd party travel management company, organise travel for technicians as required Communicate with internal departments (warehouse, sales, customer service) to confirm product availability and delivery timelines. Manage certification for products as required Monitor delivery progress and proactively address any delays or issues. Track shipments and update delivery status in the system. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including invoices, delivery notes, and proof of delivery. Resolve delivery-related inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently. Ensure compliance with transportation and safety regulations. Collaborate with third-party carriers or drivers to ensure proper execution of deliveries. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on delivery performance metrics. Continuously seek ways to improve delivery processes and customer satisfaction. The Person: Excellent organisational and time-management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure. Skills & Experience: A relevant qualification within a similar area or a degree in logistics, business administration, or related a field is a plus. Proven experience in logistics, transportation coordination, or delivery operations. Proficient in logistics software, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), and tracking systems. Familiarity with local geography and transportation regulations would be advantageous. *The role is to be based at the JF Fendercare offices in Seething, Norfolk therefore, you will need to be able to commute to this location.
