Commercial Manager | West Midlands| £57,000 + Excellent Benefits
We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading and growing housing association that’s investing in strategic supply chain transformation. This full-time, permanent position offers a hybrid working model.
The Role
As Commercial Manager, you’ll lead on:
* Developing and implementing long-term materials strategies across a large-scale maintenance operation
* Managing supplier relationships, purchasing activity, and waste disposal partnerships
* Influencing high-value procurement decisions (up to £1M annually)
* Using data insight to drive efficiencies, reduce costs, and inform future investment
* Supporting continuous improvement and a seamless internal buying experience
This is an autonomous, impact-driven position with significant exposure to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
What We’re Looking For
* Strategic experience in supply chain or commercial procurement
* Knowledge of building materials in housing or construction is essential
* Qualifications in supply chain or procurement (e.g., HNC/HND, CIPS)
* Strong financial and project management skills
* Experience driving innovation and working with diverse teams
* Confident stakeholder engagement and data-led decision-making
