Duties:
Markham and Smith Ltd are are looking for an experienced and fully qualified vehicle technician to join our specialist team based in Witham, Essex. Previous experience with either, VW, Audi or Ford is a must as you will be completing maintenance and preventative maintenance on customers vehicles along with competently diagnosing vehicles. Being an current MOT tester is not essential but is an advantage. The role will stretch your skills working across multiple makes and models of vehicle on a daily basis.
You will be required to:
Complete detailed vehicle mechanical assessments
Report defects and repair vehicles to a high standard
Conduct diagnostic procedures to determine faults
Carry out routine service and maintenance work to a high standard
Liaise with workshop control and service reception.
Be self motivated and passionate, taking pride in your work.
About You
The below are key requirements for the job role:
Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
A full driving license
Your own full set of tools
MOT Tester would be an advantage
