Job Description
We are currently partnering with a Rapidly-growing Insurance company to recruit a Home Insurance Broker. Reporting into the Head of Trading, the successful candidate will be responsible for meeting personal sales targets by liaising with underwriters to secure the best quotes and recommending the most suitable insurance policies for customers’ needs.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Work towards defined personal sales targets and consistently meet performance expectations.
* Liaise with underwriters to secure the most competitive and suitable quotes for customers.
* Identify and recommend the most appropriate insurance policies based on individual customer needs.
* Handle inbound telephone enquiries from customers seeking non-standard property and landlord insurance via purchased leads.
* Convert enquiries into sales by delivering a high-quality, customer-focused sales experience.
* Conduct thorough fact-finds to uncover all material information and ensure compliant product recommendations.
* Effectively manage objections, using strong persuasion and influencing skills while avoiding any form of pressure selling.
* Meet and exceed realistic sales goals through strong closing ability and consistent performance.
The ideal candidate should have:
* Experience is required in Property (ideally non-standard product insurance) to be able to understand property risk factors adequately and competently.
* Experience of dealing or working for a property insurer or broker is required.
* A desire to learn new skills and challenge stakeholder to develop personal and achieve business objectives.
