Duties:
9. Manage the daily workshop diary ensuring smooth workflow
10. Allocate work to technicians based on skill level, efficiency, and workload demands
11. Monitor progress to ensure timely completion of all jobs
12. Liaise with the parts department to ensure parts availability and efficiency
13. Process job cards, warranty claims and invoicing accurately and promptly
14. Support the service team with updates on repair progress and additional work requirements
15. Maintain manufacturer compliance and uphold workshop standards
16. Supervise and oversee the work of a team of motorcycle technicians and support staff
17. Contribute to a high standard of customer service and workshop organisation
Requirements for the Workshop Controller position:
18. Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Service Advisor or in a similar workshop coordination role preferred, However our client would look at enthusiastic individuals with transferable skills to succeed in this role
19. Knowledge of motorcycle or automotive industry highly desirable
20. Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
21. Excellent communication and team management abilities
22. Familiarity with Dealer Management Systems (DMS)
23. Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented attitude
24. Enthusiasm and a proactive approach to workshop management
25. An individual looking to progress within the motorcycle industry or seeking a role with more autonomy
