Position: Senior Sales Engineer
Location: Home-based / Regional
We are looking for an experienced Senior Sales Engineer to drive growth across a defined region by working closely with existing clients and developing new business opportunities. This role combines technical understanding, consultative selling, and relationship management. You will work with customers to understand their needs, design tailored technical solutions, and convert opportunities into successful projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Achieve agreed sales and growth targets within your assigned region
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
* Visit customer sites to understand requirements and propose tailored solutions
* Prepare, present, and follow up on commercial and technical proposals
* Collaborate with internal project and delivery teams to ensure accurate, achievable proposals
* Maintain accurate sales pipeline information using a CRM system
* Support smooth handover of confirmed projects to delivery teams
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to support wider business development activity
About You
* Proven experience in technical or solution-based sales
* Confident working with CRM systems and managing a sales pipeline
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Able to build long-term client relationships
* Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working independently
* Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
Desirable Experience
* Sales experience in HVAC or similar technical / engineering products
* Account management or service-based sales background
* Experience working in operational or live production environments
