KM229073 - Psychological Therapist – NHS Scotland, Aberdeen City
This full‑time role is for a Psychology Practitioner/CBT Therapist within Primary Care Adult Mental Health. Working primarily in GP surgeries, other primary care facilities or via the Attend Anywhere VDO platform, you will provide evidence‑based psychological therapy to adults with mild to moderate mental health problems such as depression and anxiety.
Responsibilities
* Assess and deliver psychological therapy (CBT, psychodynamic, or other evidence‑based interventions) for Tier 2 adult mental health problems.
* Provide therapy within primary care settings, including online sessions via Attend Anywhere.
* Develop strong links with social care and third‑sector partners to support holistic patient care.
* Engage in clinical supervision, continuing professional development, and adherence to the NHS Scotland Matrix.
Qualifications
* MSc in Psychological Therapy in Primary Care or equivalent; PG Diploma in CBT (or equivalent) is also acceptable.
* Clinical placement experience within primary care or mental health services is desirable but not essential.
* Demonstrated ability to work within the NHS Scotland clinical governance framework.
