Job Title: Interim Health & Safety Manager Location: Essex Day Rate: £450 - £500 (Inside IR35) Our client, a well-established organisation based in Essex, is seeking an experienced Interim Health & Safety Manager to lead on all health and safety matters across the business. This role will play a critical part in ensuring compliance with legislation, promoting best practice, and embedding a strong safety culture. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert advice and proactive solutions to ensure health & safety compliance across the organisation. Develop, maintain, and manage arrangements for identifying, documenting, and controlling health & safety risks. Act as the appointed responsible person for health & safety purposes. Promote and support a positive health & safety culture throughout the organisation. Ensure statutory, legal, and regulatory health & safety responsibilities are met for staff, contractors, customers, and visitors. Identify and monitor potential emergency risks, recommending or implementing mitigation actions. Oversee operational delivery to ensure full compliance with health & safety policies, procedures, and statutory requirements. Stay up to date with evolving legislation, regulations, and codes of practice, ensuring managers and employees are informed of any changes.
