Are you a passionate and experienced SEND Teacher looking for your next rewarding role?

A well-established specialist SEND primary school in Birkenhead is seeking a Primary SEND Teacher to join their dedicated team from September 2025 until December 2025.

Location: Birkenhead
Start Date: September 2025
Duration: Until December 2025 (1 term)
Hours: Full-time
Setting: Specialist SEND school

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
2. Experience working with children with a range of Special Educational Needs, including complex needs
3. A nurturing, patient and adaptable approach
4. Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team
5. Passion for inclusive education and creating engaging, supportive lessons tailored to individual needs

Job Specification

A large number of our jobs are within the ALN sector. We fill many vacancies in schools with candidates who have the right experience and qualifications.

To work in an Additional Learning Needs (ALN) role you will need:

10. A relevant teaching qualification
11. Ideally experience working in an ALN environment
12. Recent experience in a classroom environment
13. An excellent track record
14. Good knowledge of the national curriculum
15. Strong interpersonal and people management skills
16. Flexibility and adaptability to work short-term and long-term.

We are always looking for candidates who have particular experience in working with children classified as having:

17. Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
18. Dyslexia
19. Dyspraxia
20. Multi-Sensory Impairment (MSI)
21. Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
22. Profound and Moderate Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
23. Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties (SEMH)
24. Severe Learning Difficulties
25. Physical Disabilities (PD).
