Overview
Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 (Higher end for candidates with more than 1 year of experience)
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Pre-Litigation Fee Earner with credit hire RTA experience to join our client’s growing legal team. The successful candidate will handle a caseload of pre-litigated files with autonomy and professionalism.
The Role
1. Manage a caseload of pre-litigated credit hire RTA claims.
2. Review and assess new instructions and progress files through negotiation and settlement.
3. Prepare cases for litigation where necessary.
4. Regularly communicate with clients, insurers, and third-party representatives.
5. Ensure accurate and timely case progression in line with firm procedures and client expectations.
The Person
1. Minimum 1 year’s experience in credit hire RTA work at a claimant law firm.
2. Solid understanding of pre-action protocol and credit hire principles.
3. Ability to prioritise a busy caseload and work to deadlines.
4. Proactive, professional, and committed to delivering excellent client service.
