We’re a small, supportive but busy team at the heart of Workforce Planning and Resourcing, and we’re looking for a motivated Establishment Management Advisor to join our Establishment Control Team.
In this role, you’ll dive into a variety of data, helping to review and manage information that keeps our systems up-to-date and accurate. Your knowledge of processes will be key as you collaborate with multiple departments across the organisation, offering a diverse and dynamic work experience where your interpersonal skills will truly flourish.
Responsibilities
* Maintain the integrity of the organisation structure data held on computerised systems and create organisational structures as necessary allocating staff to appropriate posts.
* Quality assure all data received, carrying out necessary research to provide clarity as to the change being requested.
* Monitor organisational establishment data, conducting audits of the system and changes made to the system on a regular basis to ensure accuracy of workforce data, highlighting any discrepancies, taking corrective action where necessary.
* Develop and maintain close working relationships with managers, HR, Finance and Workforce Planning colleagues ensuring early oversight of proposed organisational changes within specified directorates/departments.
* Assist in the provision of financial control, liaising with other teams as appropriate, ensuring systems and processes are efficiently linked.

Additional information
This role is based at Police Headquarters in Portishead working alongside your team, and you will also have the opportunity to work from home for a proportion of your working week.
To be eligible to apply for this role you must have a 3 year ‘checkable history’ in the UK – ideally this means that you would have been resident in the UK for the last 3 years.
