The Role - Child Care Assistant: As a Child Care Assistant, you will support pupils in all aspects of daily school life, from engaging in classroom activities, sensory play, and communication work, to providing mobility assistance where required. You will work closely with class teachers, therapists, and specialist staff to implement EHCP targets, contribute to a positive learning environment, and most importantly, support the well-being of each pupil. Your role as a Child Care Assistant: Providing a nurturing presence to help reduce anxiety and increase engagement Assisting with health-related routines with dignity and sensitivity Helping deliver a creative and therapeutic curriculum, tailored to individual learning pathways What their looking for: We welcome applications from experienced Child Care Assistants, support workers, or individuals with a background in SEN, care, or health services.
