Job Description
3. Assist with the preparation of management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and variance analysis.
4. Support budgeting and forecasting processes to aid decision-making.
5. Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
6. Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
7. Assist with end-of-month and year-end processes, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
8. Manage invoices, payments, and other transactional finance activities.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support.
10. Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency within the Accounting & Finance department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
11. Relevant qualifications or ongoing study in Accounting or Finance (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA).
12. Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
13. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
14. An understanding of financial reporting and compliance requirements.
