Were looking for a Business Analyst to play a key role in shaping and delivering digital services that meet the needs of our customersand colleagues. Youll work across teams to understand problems, design better services and translate business needs into clear, actionable solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead discovery activities to understand business problems, user needs and service challenges. Produce high-quality artefacts such as user journeys, personas, process maps and service blueprints. Work with stakeholders to gather, analyse and document requirements. Translate business needs into clear, testable user stories and acceptance criteria. Ensure non-functional requirements such as accessibility, security and data are considered from the outset. Create and maintain accurate as-is and to-be process maps aligned with policy and regulatory requirements. Support backlog refinement and prioritisation, ensuring work is value-driven and ready for delivery. Work closely with Developers, Data Engineers and delivery teams to provide clarity throughout build cycles. Support sprint ceremonies including planning, reviews and retrospectives. Contribute to testing and quality assurance, including UAT and solution validation. Act as a bridge between technical teams and operational stakeholders, communicating clearly and effectively. Identify and support delivery of measurable benefits and continuous improvement opportunities. Promote equality, diversity and inclusion in all decisions and interactions. Report health and safety concerns and share learning where appropriate. What youll need to succeed Experience working as a Business Analyst within multidisciplinary digital delivery teams. Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping and service design. Experience writing clear, testable user stories and acceptance criteria. Understanding of Agile delivery frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban. Ability to build strong relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. Organised and able to manage competing priorities effectively. A collaborative, user-centred and solution-focused approach. Confidence using digital tools including Microsoft applications and collaboration platforms. Commitment to delivering accessible, secure and high-quality digital services. A relevant Business Analysis qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
