This role is fully remote. As part of your role you will be expected to:
PLANNING & REPORTING
Collaborate with stakeholders, internally with the web team, developers, and leadership to define UX/UI objectives and document design requirements.
Plan and prioritize the user experience based on various user roles and access levels, ensuring a tailored experience for each audience group.
Provide regular updates on design progress and flag potential challenges early.
DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
Design the website and mobile app by keeping in view the various user experience and journeys.
Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for a website and mobile app that includes role-based access, custom user dashboards, and complex data visualizations.
Create an intuitive and seamless user experience that integrates Tableau dashboards and presents data in a user-friendly manner.
Focus on responsive design, ensuring accessibility across all devices and platforms.
Ensure that all visualizations and content are seamlessly integrated into the website and mobile app, aligned with the brand, and optimized for user engagement and accessibility.
Design in such a way that the website could be transformed into Android/iOS app.
TESTING & QA
Conduct comprehensive testing of all visualizations, content, and publications to ensure they meet user requirements and function correctly across various devices.
Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions with the Knowledge Manager & Communications Team and other end-users to validate the usability, performance, and accessibility of the intranet’s visualizations and content.
Track and resolve any issues identified during testing to ensure a high-quality final product.
Expected experience:
Proven experience in UX/UI design for web applications, app development, especially in data-centric fields like economics or statistics.
Proficiency with design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, with strong knowledge of wireframing, prototyping, and user testing.
Knowledge about the React JS and React Native.
Experience in designing for user role management and access control, ensuring that different user groups have distinct, intuitive experiences.
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau and their integration into user interfaces.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly when working with technical and non-technical teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Design, Digital Media, or a related field.
Certifications in UX/UI design are a plus.
Experience in designing for role-based data access and customization is highly desirable.
Relevant certifications in data visualization, content management, or web development are a plus.
Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in UX/UI development, content deployment, website development and app development, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
