Production Planner
Full time role
Mon-Fri (Apply online only). Opportunity to work 1 day per week from home after 6 month probationary period.
Role based in Edenbridge. Lots of free car parking on site and based close to mainline railway stations
Salary £32000-£35000 per year depending on experience levels plus very good all round company benefits, including health insurance, 24 days holiday (plus all UK bank holidays), a great pension scheme and annual bonus.

The role - Production Planner
My client works closely with their customers to help solve their packaging and supply chain challenges through increasing their speed to market with innovative eye-catching packaging design and manufacture.
Their mission is to deliver end-to-end packaging solutions, and as their business continues to grow, they are seeking a Production Planner to support their expansion plans. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing production schedules to ensure the timely and cost-effective manufacturing of printed packaging.
This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with production, sales and supply chain teams.
We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated and has a positive attitude with plenty of drive.
Duties will include:
Production Scheduling & Planning
* Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer orders, stock levels and machine capacity.
* Ensure production deadlines are met while optimising machine efficiency and minimizing downtime.
* Monitor work-in-progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet demands.
Coordination & Communication
* Work closely with sales, procurement and production teams to align scheduling with raw material availability and customer requirements.
* Provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding production status and any potential delays.
Process Improvement & Efficiency
* Identify opportunities to improve production processes and reduce waste.
Experience, knowledge and competencies required:
Experience in print packaging, lithographic printing, commercial printing or digital printing.
Strong understanding of production scheduling software and ERP/MRP systems.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent communication skills
Strong experience in production planning, preferably in the print packaging industry.
