World-leading industrial gases and engineering company urgently require a Production Operative to work nights at their busy Bristol depot. Reporting directly to the Manager, you will based on the forecourt and you will be responsible for the safe handling and sorting of gas cylinders, which also includes the unloading and loading of them on to vehicles
The Role
Working with excellent attention to detail and the training we provide; you will be responsible for the safe handling and sorting of our gas cylinders
You will have the opportunity to develop and learn skills and competence in other team activities such as cylinder filling, in which you will receive per occasion renumeration
We take pride in what we do, so you will be responsible for ensuring that your working area and the site is safe, organised, tidy and maintained to the highest standard
You will work in and be responsible for a safety-first environment, where you will actively follow and promote safe practices to all and support your manager and team with tasks when required
As part of this role, there will be an element of manual handling of the cylinders and forklift driving, with the suitable equipment to support you in doing the job safely
Requirements:
Forklift Truck handling competencies / certification.
Ability to work as part of a team or on your own.
Excellent communication and listening skills
Physical fitness and manual handling skills to cope with range of different packages.
Youre a self-starter who is organised and passionate about getting a job done safely, to a deadline
You will be given the opportunity to acquire new skills, develop yourself through courses and on the job learning but you must have a willingness to learn and develop
Must adaptable and flexible
Current Drivers License
