Freelance Fire Door Inspector (Self-Employed / Contract) Location: Greater Manchester Rate: £275–£300 per day Start: Immediate Duration: Large initial project with ongoing opportunities across the North West We are currently recruiting for our client who is currently partnering on a large-scale fire safety programme and is seeking an experienced and competent self-employed Fire Door Inspector to support a high-volume inspection project in Manchester. This is a substantial contract covering approximately 3,500 fire doors, with strong potential for further works for the right individual. Key Details: Inspecting 50–60 fire doors per day Working hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday Must be familiar with surveying programmes including OneTrace, Boris, Bolster, RiskBase etc Day-rate: £275–£300 (dependent on experience) Fortnightly payments Imminent start Requirements: Proven experience inspecting fire doors Must hold appropriate fire door inspection qualifications- demonstrable by certification Competent using different surveying programmes OneTrace, Bolster, Boris, RiskBase etc Self-employed / freelance status Reliable, efficient, and able to work to programme deadlines Strong attention to detail and compliance standards This opportunity would suit a contractor looking for consistent volume, clear scope, and the opportunity to build a longer-term working relationship.
