Role Overview
As an MR radiology assistant, you will work with our radiographers in the MR scanning department, ensuring exceptional support for patients before, during and after their MR scan. The role involves caring for patients, placing intravenous cannulas and removing them once the scan is completed, ensuring all consumables are available throughout the day, keeping the area clean and tidy, and providing additional support to patients as needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional support for patients before, during and after MR scans.
* Care for patients, place intravenous cannulas, and remove them after the scan.
* Ensure all consumables are available throughout the day.
* Keep the scanning area clean and tidy.
* Provide additional support to patients through the scanning process.
* Work flexibly, including weekends, and cover for colleagues' leave as needed.
Personal Traits & Qualifications
* Hard‑working, caring demeanor.
* Well organized and prepared to work hard.
* Will complete full training in cannulation techniques and all other aspects of the role.
