Pertemps is thrilled to be working in partnership with Royal Mail, the UK's most iconic delivery service, to recruit HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for their busy Exeter Distribution Centre this festive season.
As part of the Royal Mail fleet, you'll be trunking parcels and letters between depots nationwide - no multi-drop, no heavy lifting, just straightforward trunking in clean, well-maintained vehicles. With shifts planned a week in advance and guaranteed pay, it's a great way to earn extra money in the run-up to Christmas!

What you'll be doing:
11. Trunking mail and parcels between Royal Mail depots across the UK
12. Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and professionally
13. Following drivers' hours and WTD regulations
14. Completing digital tachograph entries accurately
15. Representing Royal Mail with pride and professionalism
What we need from you:
16. Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for a minimum of 1 year
17. Minimum 180 days' proven commercial driving experience (insurance requirement)
18. Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
19. No more than 6 penalty points (no DD/DR/IN/CD/TT endorsements)
20. Strong geographical knowledge & a professional attitude
21. Willingness to complete a DBS security check
22. Successful completion of site assessment & induction before starting
