They are now seeking a commercially focused Managing Director / Sales Director to lead the UK market, drive enterprise growth, and strengthen strategic partnerships.
Purpose of the Role The Managing Director / Sales Director will take full ownership of the UK commercial and MSP strategy, ensuring successful delivery, growth, and optimisation of Managed Service Programmes. This senior leader must possess deep experience in MSP delivery, programme governance, workforce management, bidding, and high-level solution design .
You will drive commercial performance, oversee UK MSP operations, lead client acquisition, and position the organisation as the partner of choice for complex workforce solutions.
Key Responsibilities MSP Leadership (Core Requirement) Own and lead all UK MSP operations, ensuring high-quality delivery, governance, and programme performance
Oversee MSP strategy, optimisation, reporting, SLAs, and supplier management
Drive continuous improvement across MSP models including master vendor, hybrid, and vendor-neutral approaches
Act as executive sponsor for major MSP clients
Bidding & Proposal Ownership Lead the end-to-end process for large-scale bids, RFPs, RFIs and tender submissions
Work closely with global teams on solution design, pricing models, and commercial structure
Present to procurement and C-suite stakeholders with confidence and credibility
Drive win strategies for enterprise-level opportunities
Commercial Leadership Develop and implement UK commercial strategy aligned to global objectives
Drive revenue growth across MSP, RPO, and talent advisory solutions
Identify new market opportunities and emerging client needs
Lead major contract negotiations
Client Engagement & Partnerships Build long-term, strategic relationships at C-suite and senior procurement level
Serve as a trusted workforce solutions advisor
Ensure exceptional delivery and customer satisfaction across all programmes
Operational & Strategic Leadership Influence UK operational performance and support delivery teams
Align UK strategy with global leadership objectives
Champion innovation, service evolution, technology, and analytics
Team Leadership Lead and mentor senior commercial, MSP, and account management teams
Drive a high-performance culture with accountability for results
Support capability development and succession planning
Experience & Skills Required Essential Proven experience as a Managing Director, Sales Director, Commercial Director, or senior MSP leader
Extensive background in MSP management, programme governance, and enterprise workforce solutions
Strong experience with bids, RFPs, RFIs, tenders, and large contract negotiations
Proven track record of winning, mobilising, and scaling MSP or large outsourcing programmes
Ability to engage and influence C-suite, procurement, and global stakeholders
Strong commercial acumen with significant revenue growth achievements
Experience leading senior commercial or operations teams
Desired Experience in global matrix organisations
Knowledge of digital workforce solutions or talent analytics
Strong network across enterprise or multinational talent markets
Working Model London office 2 days per week
