Duties and Responsibilities
Purpose: To provide Maintenance Engineering support and professional engineering advice in accordance with governing documents and quality norms of both client and company.
Essential Functions
* Evaluate, define, and support the development of specific maintenance concepts, programmes, and strategies for onshore and offshore oil and gas installations.
* Ensure effective input and management of data within the CMMS database.
* Undertake spare‑part evaluation and CMMS optimisation.
* Support the preparation of data for client presentations and meetings.
* Operate and maintain client Computerised Maintenance Management Systems.
* Support re‑evaluations of maintenance programmes based on operational feedback.
* Liaise with Client Technical Authorities to deliver optimised maintenance requirements.
* Retrieve project‑specific technical data from client library/documentation.
* Assist the Line Manager to achieve Key Performance Indicator (KPI) deliverables and manage the service.
* Support the Line Manager in management of the Oceaneering contract, providing assurance on technical delivery and cost management.
Non‑essential Functions
* The list of duties is not exclusive; the post holder may undertake tasks expected within the scope of the post.
* Assist with any other duties as and when required.
* Undertake specific projects as instructed by management.
Safety and Other
Ensure the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to, and carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems. Perform tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems, and contribute to continuous environmental improvement.
Supervisory Responsibilities
* The position may have direct supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications – Required
* College Diploma in an Engineering‑related discipline (Mechanical, Electrical or Process).
Qualifications – Desired
* Degree in an Engineering‑related discipline (Mechanical, Electrical or Process).
* Working towards award of professional engineer status within the local region (e.g., CEng /EUR ING /PE).
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
* Minimum 3 years of specific experience related to the role.
* Familiarity with QA/QC systems/procedures and CMMS systems.
* Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present complex terminology simply.
* Proficiency with engineering drawings.
* Team approach to problem solving and workflow execution.
* Leadership, coordination or guidance to others.
* Strong client or support‑contractor relationship skills across diverse cultures.
