Overview
As a Regional Aquatics Manager in our Shropshire Leisure team, you'll drive the growth, quality, and success of swimming lessons and aquatic programmes across multiple sites. Your work will make a real difference by helping people build confidence in the water, while supporting local communities and developing a team that delivers excellence.
Responsibilities
* Deliver the Serco Leisure National Aquatics Strategy within your region.
* Manage and grow swimming lesson and aquatics programmes, ensuring quality, retention, and sustainable growth through a data-driven approach.
* Lead, mentor, and develop Swimming Coordinators, driving performance and building future talent.
* Oversee school swimming programmes, ensuring delivery that meets community needs.
* Support the mobilisation of new sites, ensuring consistent product standards.
* Monitor programme performance using reports and KPIs, implementing improvements where needed.
* Work with Marketing and Digital teams to promote aquatics programmes and strengthen customer engagement.
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding, qualifications, training standards, and health and safety requirements.
Qualifications
* Experience of working in a busy leisure environment across multiple sites.
* A proven track record of growing and improving swimming lesson programmes.
* Experience of leading teams through change, mentoring staff, and driving performance.
* STA or Swim England Level 2 Certificate in Teaching Swimming (essential).
* Award in Education and Training Level 3 (essential - or willing to achieve).
* Safeguarding CPD (essential).
* A full driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.
