Estimating and Procurement Manager
Mid Kent
£35,000 - £45,000 (DOE)
Monday – Friday
My client is a leading production-based company who are committed to delivering high-quality services are looking for an Estimating & Procurement Manager to strengthen their commercial and technical operations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join a market-leading business where your skills in estimating and procurement will directly impact project success, supplier relationships, and business growth.
What you’ll be doing:
* Producing accurate, cost-effective job estimates aligned with customer specs and production capabilities
* Collaborating with sales, customer service, and production teams to support quote generation
* Managing procurement of materials and outsourced services, ensuring cost, quality, and supply efficiency
* Developing pricing models and tracking production costs, KPIs, and supplier performance
* Driving strategic purchasing decisions and sustainable material sourcing
* Leading and developing a small technical team, including setting objectives and identifying training needs
* Reporting key performance insights to senior leadership
What we’re looking for:
* Strong background in estimating and/or procurement within a commercial environment
* Supervisory experience and excellent leadership
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Commercially savvy, with the ability to balance client needs with cost targets
* Confident using Microsoft Office Suite and proficient using Excel
* Proactive, solutions-focused, and eager to contribute to team growth and business success
