About Our Client

The business works closely with NHS Trusts, private healthcare providers, and public-sector stakeholders, delivering technically challenging schemes across acute, primary, and specialist care environments.Based in their London office, the healthcare team delivers projects predominantly across the South of the UK, supporting clients from early feasibility through to final account. The consultancy offers the structure, systems, and project exposure of a larger practice, while maintaining a close-knit, collaborative culture with clear access to senior leadership.Due to continued growth within their healthcare portfolio, the business is now seeking a Quantity Surveyor with at least 2 years' healthcare experience to support live projects and progress toward chartership and senior-level responsibilities. Job Description
3. Provide quantity surveying and commercial management support across healthcare construction projects
4. Work closely with senior surveyors and directors on cost planning, procurement, and contract administration
5. Prepare cost plans, estimates, tender documentation, and financial reports
6. Support the management of budgets, valuations, variations, and final accounts
7. Engage with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders across live healthcare environments
8. Assist with risk management, value engineering, and commercial decision-making
9. Attend site meetings and monitor progress across projects predominantly located in the South of the UK
10. Support delivery across multiple project stages from feasibility through to completion
11. Work toward clearly defined development objectives aligned with chartership and career progression
The Successful Applicant
12. Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within a consultancy environment
13. Demonstrable experience delivering healthcare projects is essential
14. MRICS qualified or actively working toward chartership
15. Strong understanding of cost management, procurement, and contract administration
16. Well-organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple workstreams
17. Confident communicator with a professional approach to client and project team engagement
18. Motivated to develop a long-term career within healthcare cost consultancy
