A leading provider of civil engineering solutions across Northern Ireland is currently recruiting a Quantity Surveyor. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality infrastructure projects, they aremitted to innovation, safety, and excellence in every aspect of our work. Due to continued growth, they now require a Quantity Surveyor to join themercial Team in Mid-Ulster.
Your new role
You will be a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor, ideally from a background in civil engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost and contract management across a range of civil engineering projects, ensuring value for money while maintaining the highest standards of quality andpliance.
Requirements:
1. Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
2. Manage project costs from initial calculations to final accounts.
3. Monitor and report on project progress, costs, and variations.
4. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.
5. Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure financial efficiency.
6. Prepare and evaluate subcontractor packages and procurement strategies.
7. Ensurepliance with legal, contractual, and safety regulations.
8. Support cash flow forecasting and cost reporting.
9. Assist in dispute resolution and claims management.
What you'll need to succeed
10. Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
11. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within civil engineering.
12. Strong knowledge of construction contracts (, NEC, JCT).
13. Proficient in Microsoft Office and cost management software.
14. Excellent analytical, negotiation, andmunication skills.
15. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
